Bookmarklet Drag the link below to your browser's bookmark bar, or if you're using Internet Explorer, right-click it and select "Add to favorites": What is a bookmarklet? It's a tiny program contained in a browser bookmark. That is to say that you save it as a regular Internet bookmark but instead of opening a webpage, it performs a series of actions. In our case, it brings Screenjelly to you wherever you are online. How do I install it? - If you are using Internet Explorer, right-click on the button above and select "Add to favorites...". Choose where you want to save it (generally, you would save it in your bookmark bar for easy access) and that's it! - For most other browsers, you can drag-and-drop the button into your browser's bookmark bar. How do I use it? Whenever you need to record your screen, just click the bookmarklet and the Screenjelly recorder will open in your current page. It works exactly the same way as on Screenjelly.com: click the "Record" button and start your message: show that new website or application you discovered, explain that issue you've been having, etc. and click "Stop" when you're done. Then, you just have to click "Use it" and you will get the URL of the recording, ready to share it by email, in a blog post or anywhere else. All recordings made with the bookmarklet will be available on your account page on Screenjelly.com. Is it safe? It is absolutely safe! When you're using the bookmarklet, you're still on Screenjelly.com, so when you sign in to your Screenjelly account, it's directly with us and the website you're currently visiting doesn't have access to your credentials in any way. Note that, as always, if you sign in with Twitter, we don't have access to your credentials either. The bookmarklet is doing the same thing as our website, only in a portable way.
